Puffing Billy Steam Vodka is a unique unfiltered malted barley vodka. Normal filtration methods risk removing the delicious flavour and texture of our locally sourced barley. Instead, our spirit undergoes a distinctive process where the spirit is steamed through charcoal within the still itself and remains unfiltered as a liquid. Private Whisky Cask – £2,400

If you’re feeling really generous, and that whisky-lover in your life’s been nice – not naughty – consider buying them their very own private whisky cask.

Launched to commemorate the date in which the final operating distillery in the Borders region fell silent, the directors have released 1,837 casks for private sale.

Filled with new-make spirit on a date of the owner’s choosing, in a cask type selected from a range of options, the customer’s individually numbered cask will be stored under bond and bottled when the owner wishes. They can download an accompanying app and check on the progress of their spirit as it matures into whisky.
