Bold but balanced, Lower East Side is a great whisky for mixing – not so powerfully smoky it swamps the rest of the ingredients, nor so subtle that it disappears into whatever you’ve mixed it with.
The whisky has rich notes of vanilla, almond, and honey. These can work well when balanced with bitter notes or paired with herbal flavours. And the whisky’s light smoky note complements fruit flavours such as apple, pear, or pineapple.
